n the Winter there's lots of snow for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. You can start your cross country ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile trip right out the front door of your cabin.

n the Summer, Little Grass Valley Lake is just 4 miles up the road. There's lots of small streams and miles of trails to hike and fish or picnic by. The Pacific Crest Trail passes through this portion of the forest not far from La Porte.

here's many historic town sites and cemeteries in the area. Some within walking distance and others within a few hours drive.
